James Pollitt

James is one of the most well known and respected brokers in the London High Net Worth and Fine Art market. With more than 30 years of experience as Director of Estates and Private Clients for HSBC and also as Director  of Art and Private Clients for CBC, a highly regarded Lloyd’s broker, James has a wealth of knowledge and experience.

James is known for exceptional client service and response times. He lives and breathes the highest standards.

Against a backdrop of diminishing service levels amongst the larger brokers, James decided to form his own boutique broker, Charles & Thomas Limited in March 2021. Twelve months later James met up with an old friend of 25 years plus, John Sims. John had been responsible for launching Chubb Masterpiece in 1996 and almost identically to James, had seen the service levels provided by the bigger brokers plummet and had formed Vizion to offer a unique level of service.

As good friends and with the same customer focus ethos, James decided to join Vizion where he can still give great service but also have the support of the Vizion Private Client team and be able to offer his clients world class service for commercial and private medical insurance.

James is a dedicated family man and loves nothing more than spending time with his wife, Sonia and their daughters Amelia and Charlotte.  James enjoys playing golf and fly fishing and admits to both being in need of improvement.
