Vizion Insurance Brokers launches with Jeremy Guscott With the aim of attracting talented and entrepreneurial insurance professionals who want to run their own business, there is a new broking venture in London – and it has backing from a household name.
Vizion Insurance Brokers Limited has launched today and features England rugby legend and TV pundit Jeremy Guscott as its development director. He will work alongside Trevor Davies, a partner with specialist insurance law firm Kennedys, managing director John Sims and chairman Chris Blackham.
“We decided some time ago that an opportunity presented itself to build a home for brokers who are frustrated with working in an environment where their endeavours are not recognised or appropriately rewarded,” explained Sims.
“Vizion offers a well-run, regulated platform for broking entrepreneurs who have their own clients or ideas and want to run their own businesses, have their own equity, and a clearly defined exit route for when they decide to retire. We are already attracting interests from all sectors including commercial as well as high net worth and property owners.”
Sims explained that even ahead of today’s launch the company had already attracted partners thanks to the way it tailors its support to meet the need of broking entrepreneurs.
“The fact that, as a team, we have a deep knowledge and understanding of our industry and the challenges facing brokers means we can offer a lot more than say a bank or venture capitalist,” added Blackham. “We are determined to collaborate as true partners with those that join Vizion.”
